Drainage Lymphatique & Réflexologie

Expert touch dedicated to your recovery and balance. Discover our two complementary approaches

Our Therapies

Two distinct methods to meet your body’s specific needs: one physiological for draining, the other energetic for rebalancing

Lymphatic Drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a gentle therapeutic massage technique designed to stimulate lymph circulation and detoxify the body. Unlike blood, lymph lacks a cardiac “pump”; its circulation depends entirely on body movement and respiration.

We practice a method inspired by Dr. Vodder. It features slow, rhythmic movements and extremely light pressure that create a pumping effect. This process encourages the opening of lymphatic capillaries and the evacuation of excess fluid.

"An immediate sensation of lightness and profound relief from tension related to water retention."

Reflexology

Reflexology is an ancestral practice based on the principle that every organ, gland, or physiological function corresponds to a specific zone (reflex zone) located on the feet or hands.

By applying specific pressure (thumb-walking, smoothing, acupressure) to these mapped areas, the therapist sends a signal to the nervous system to restore the corresponding organ’s balance. It is a holistic approach: it treats the person as a whole, stimulating the body’s self-regulating capabilities (homeostasis).

"An inner journey that releases physical and emotional blockages through the simple touch of the feet."

What to Expect During a Session

How your treatment takes place at Cryo Sport Santé.

Drainage

1. Initial Assessment: We review your venous history, past surgeries, and aesthetic goals.

2. Preparation: The treatment is performed directly on the skin, without oil (or very little), to ensure optimal tissue grip.

3. The Treatment: The practitioner always begins by "opening" the lymph nodes (neck, clavicles, groin) before draining the limbs with circular maneuvers.

Reflexology

1. Health History: A brief discussion to identify your issues (sleep, stress, pain) and adapt the protocol.

2. Relaxation: You are settled comfortably while we cleanse your feet with warm wipes or a relaxing lotion.

3. The Treatment: Precise stimulation of reflex zones. Some areas may feel sensitive ("crystals"), indicating a need to focus there to release tension.

Indications & Benefits

Why choose one technique over the other?

Why Choose Drainage?

Water Retention & Edema:

Ideal for relieving heavy legs and swollen ankles, especially at the end of the day or during hot weather.

Sports Recovery:

Accelerates the elimination of lactic acid and reduces muscle inflammation after intense effort.

Aesthetics & Cellulite:

Visibly improves skin quality by decongesting adipose tissue (aqueous cellulite).

Post-Operative:

Contraindications: Acute infection, tuberculosis, Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT/phlebitis), severe heart failure.

Why Choose Reflexology?

Stress & Burnout:

Powerful action on the parasympathetic nervous system to induce deep calm and reduce anxiety.

Functional Disorders:

Frequently Asked Questions

Les réponses à vos interrogations avant de réserver.

Yes, our therapists are ASCA and RME certified. Most supplemental insurance plans (LCA) cover a portion of lymphatic drainage and reflexology sessions. We advise you to check with your insurer before your first session.

For lymphatic drainage (full body), the treatment is performed in your underwear. For foot reflexology, you simply need to be able to expose your feet and calves. Please wear comfortable clothing.

Absolutely not. The Vodder method is extremely gentle and relaxing. If you feel any pain, let us know immediately, as the pressure must remain light to be effective.

This depends on your goal. For general well-being, one session is sufficient. For therapeutic treatment (significant water retention, chronic stress), we often recommend a starting “attack phase” of 5 close sessions, followed by monthly maintenance.
